Product Description

Dampstop Advanced is a superior quality interior waterproofing solution that creates a penetrative and film-forming barrier. The nano additives penetrate the substrate, blocking pores and imparting hydrophobic properties to ensure the surface remains watertight. The product is available as a white pseudo viscous liquid with a density of approximately 1.05 g/cc.

Coverage

Provides forced coverage of 45-55 square feet per liter per coat, depending on the application method, substrate nature, and conditions.

Application Methodology

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface is free from oil and loose particles, with good integrity. For surface cracks less than 5 mm, use Berger HS Crack Fill Paste. Repair larger cracks or damaged areas with polymer-modified mortar admixed with HS Advanced Latex Plus. The substrate must be in a surface-saturated dry (SSD) condition before application.

Application Instructions

Apply with a brush or spray for larger areas. Prepare the substrate as per the recommendations and apply a forced coverage of 45-55 square feet per liter for a single undiluted coat. Allow it to dry for at least 6 hours at an ambient temperature of 30°C.
For previously painted surfaces, strip the old paint, sand the surface, and remove any loose particles. Apply the first coat of primer and let it dry for 6 to 8 hours. Smoothen with putty and sand again before applying the second coat of primer. Apply one coat of illusions sealer and let it dry for 6 hours.
For new surfaces, ensure they are clean and dry, free from loose particles, chalk, grease, fungus, and algae. Sand and clean before starting the application process.

Points to Note

Stir well before use.
Repair active leaks before application.
Avoid application at ambient temperatures below 10°C or high humidity above 90%.
Do not apply local putty over Dampstop Advanced.
Allow sufficient drying time and do not apply topcoat directly over Dampstop Advanced.

Safety Instructions

In case of accidental skin contact, wash off with water and soap. For eye contact, rinse with clean warm water and seek medical attention.
Non-toxic and non-hazardous, but follow local disposal regulations for ecological safety.

Shelf Life

In unopened, undamaged original containers protected from direct sunlight and frost, the shelf life is at least 1 year from the date of manufacture. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for extended periods.
