Illusion Sealer
Illusion Sealer is a premium water-based undercoat designed for exterior and interior masonry surfaces. Formulated with high-grade emulsions and silicone additives, it creates a transparent film that effectively repels water, helping to extend the life of the topcoat. Illusion Sealer conforms to ISI, IGBC, and GRIHA specifications and is free from harmful heavy metals like lead, mercury, and chromium, making it an eco-friendly choice. The sealer penetrates porous surfaces, sealing them to reduce absorption, which enhances topcoat coverage. Ideal for sand/cement plaster, asbestos, brickwork, concrete block, and fibreboard, it is easy to apply with no curing required.

Recommended Use
Perfect for exterior and interior masonry surfaces such as plaster, brickwork, and concrete. Suitable for residential and commercial buildings.

Drying Time

• Surface Dry: 25-35 minutes, depending on weather conditions
• Hard Dry: 3-4 hours

Coverage

• By Brush Application:
  • New Surface: 8-10 sqm per coat
  • Old Surface: 10-12 sqm per coat

Coverage varies based on factors like surface condition, preparation, and weather.

Application Methodology

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the pH of the surface is below 11 and moisture content below 12%. Sand the surface, wash with clean water, and apply Bio-Wash (5% v/v). Allow drying.
2. Sealer Application: Dilute Illusion Sealer by up to 10% with potable water. Apply one coat with a brush for best penetration and sealing.

Special Notes

• Stir well before use.
• Avoid application on damp, lime-washed, or metal surfaces.
• Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or above 45°C.
• Use only potable water for dilution.
