Berger Imperia Amaze

• Recommended Use: Sealer for wood furniture, articles, components, and miscellaneous applications.
• Application Guidelines:
  • Substrate should be clean, dry, and dust-free.
  • Sand the wood with emery 120/220 before application.
  • Apply 2-3 coats of sealer with dry sanding (220 followed by 400/600 emery paper) between each coat.
  • Apply 1-2 coats of Imperia Amaze clear top coat.
  • Two-component product: Mix Base, Hardener, and Thinner in recommended proportions.
  • Check film properties after 3 to 7 days of maturity.
• In Can Properties:
  • Viscosity: 60±10 sec B4 30°C
  • Specific Gravity: 0.96 ± 0.03 (BY Volume)
  • Non Volatile Matter: 38 ± 2%
  • Shelf Life @30°C: One year in tightly closed condition
  • Chemical Composition: Polyurethane based
• Application Properties:
  • Hardener (L): Imperia Amaze Acrylic Hardener for Clear Sealer (10:1)
  • Recommended Thinner: PU Thinner
  • Thinner Intake: 25-35%
  • Spray Viscosity: 19 ± 2 sec
  • Pot Life @ 25°C: > 120 min
  • Drying Time: Surface Dry 5-10 min, Tack Free Dry 15-20 min, Hard Dry 2-3 Hours
• Film Properties:
  • Adhesion: 0/25
  • Finish: Smooth
  • Sandability: 1 Hour
  • Clarity: OK
  • Chemical Resistance (with top coat): Oil, Turmeric stain, Alcohol film deformation, Alkali film deformation, Tea stain, Coffee stain, Tomato ketchup stain on Imperia Amaze Acrylic Clear Gloss as top coat.

• Safety Guidelines:
  • Avoid inhalation of spray mist or vapor and skin contact with wet paint.
  • Store containers in cool, dry, covered conditions away from heat and ignition.
• Application Precautions:
  • Consult coating supplier for temperature and humidity conditions.
  • Clean equipment immediately after use with suitable solvent.
  • Proper substrate cleaning and pretreatment required.
  • Use mixed paint within pot life; tightly close container after use.
