Berger Silk Glamor High Sheen

Silk Glamor High Sheen is a premier interior wall paint designed to provide walls with a premium and rich appearance. • Coverage: Approximately 150-170 sq.ft/liter/2 coats, under ideal test conditions. Coverage may vary based on surface conditions, preparation, application skill, weather, and dilution.

Recommended Use

• Suitable for plastered surfaces, concrete walls, fiberboards, asbestos, gypsum boards, and false ceilings.

Surface Preparation

For Previously Painted Surfaces:

1. Strip old paint as far as possible and roughen the unremoved portion with no. 180 or no. 220 emery paper. Remove all loosely adhering particles or dust.
2. Apply the first coat of primer and allow it to dry for 6-8 hours.
3. Smoothen the surface by applying thin coats of putty to fill in all the dents. Allow the putty to dry overnight.
4. Sand the surface with emery paper no. 200/220 and wipe clean.
5. Apply the second coat of primer and allow it to dry for 6-8 hours.
6. Sand the surface with emery paper no. 320 and wipe clean.
7. Apply one coat of Illusions Sealer and allow it to dry for 6 hours.

For Fresh/New Surfaces:

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from all loose particles, chalk, grease, fungus, and algae. Sand the surface with emery paper no. 80 and wipe clean.
2. Follow the steps mentioned above for previously painted surfaces.

Directions for Application

1. For Topcoat: Dilute the paint as per the recommended dilution ratio. Apply the first finishing coat with a brush or roller and allow it to dry for at least 6-8 hours.
2. After the first coat dries, apply the second coat and allow it to dry overnight.

Cleaning Instructions

• Use only toilet soap to clean stains.
• For oil-based stains, use mineral turpentine oil only.
• Use a soft white cotton cloth for cleaning.
• Wipe gently without using pressure.
• Attempt cleaning the surface only after one month of application.

Points to Note

• Shake well before use.
• Do not over-dilute.
• Keep the container tightly closed to prevent drying.
• Use one coat of Bio-Wash to kill fungal growth.
• Scrape off old paint thoroughly before starting painting.
• Gyro shakes well after tinting through the CB Machine.
• For deep shades, apply one additional coat.
• Do not apply paint on lime-washed surfaces and damp walls.
• In case of contact with eyes, wash immediately with water and seek medical help.
• Do not apply paint when the ambient temperature is below 10°C or above 45°C.

Packaging and Storage

• Available in packs of 0.9, 3.6, 9, and 18 liters.
• Store the container tightly closed in a cool and dry place.
• Keep out of reach of children and away from foodstuff.
